Tomasz (arms) Sulima (1721-1781), a Jesuit, a dogmatic.
Born
21 XII 1721 r., he was a son of Michal, leutenant He was admitted to the Jesuit
Order on Aug. 10, 1735. Ne completed nowitiate in Krakow and Teacher's
Study in Krasnystaw (1737-1738), he stidied pholosophy inKalisz (1738-1740) and
Krosno
(1740-1741), theology in Poznan (1744-1748), where he took vows in 1747 as a
priest. He taught philosophy in Jesuits' schools in Torun (1750-1752), Poznan (1752-1754),
Kalisz (1754-1757) and Luck (1757-1760). In 1760 r. he took a chair of theology
at the Lviv University, and in 1763 r. he moved to Lublin, where he took a
professorship of the Scholasic Theology, and from 1766 Polemic Theology, too.
Died in 1781 r.
